Deadline to Change your Political Party

June 4th is the last day before State Primary

The last day to change your political party before the New Hampshire State Primary (which is scheduled for September 10th) is June 4th. You cannot obtain a primary ballot for a political party that you are not registered as after June 4th, unless you are currently an Undeclared voter. If you are currently registered as one party and would like to vote in the primary as another, you will need to change your party with the Town Clerk's Office or Supervisors of the Checklist before that date.

 

REMINDER - If you were an Undeclared voter and voted in the Primary on January 23rd as either a Republican or Democrat and want to go back to Undeclared, the deadline for doing so is also June 4th. The NH Secretary of State publishes guidelines and deadlines for elections here.
