Our Mission

The Planning Board is charged with the task of promoting health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of Lyndeborough by administering existing ordinances and developing new ordinances that preserve the value of property and buildings; by encouraging the appropriate use of land throughout the town. Additionally, the Board seeks to preserve the value of property and buildings by encouraging the appropriate use of land throughout the town. The Board seeks to preserve the rural character of the community; promote good building design and facilitate the adequate provision for the needs of the town, including but not limited to schools, parks, fire and safety, housing, assuring proper use of natural resources, growth management and other public requirements.
