Lyndeborough Volunteer Fire Department
The Lyndeborough Fire Department is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the protection of Lyndeborough residents and their property. You may request a burn permit online, or you may call the Fire Duty Officer at 603-831-3355. If there is no answer, please leave a message with your name, number, and the date/time of your call.
As of September 22, 2025 and until further notice, there is a statewide ban on burning due to severe drought.

The Lyndeborough Police Department Mission:

- Office Hours: Since we are a department of limited personnel, there are times during normal business hours when there is no one in the Police Department Office.
- Non-Emergencies: If you have a non-emergency call that you would like the Police Department to handle directly, please call the Milford Area Communications Center at (603) 654-6535 and leave a message for an officer to contact you.
- Emergencies: When an officer is not available, the NH State Police will respond to emergency calls within the Town of Lyndeborough.

Wilton Ambulance Service
Ambulance service in Lyndeborough is provided by the Wilton Ambulance Service.
Wilton Ambulance is a Paramedic service staffed 24/7 serving three towns: Wilton, Lyndeborough and Greenfield. They offer public CPR and First Aid/Stop the Bleed classes at request.
Along with the Wilton Fire Department, they are involved with a program called 911 CARES (Citizen Assistance Registry for Emergency Services). This is a way to make emergency responders more informed about potential hazards, people with chronic medical conditions, or other concerns, at an address.
