A little history for you

Did you know that the building known as Citizens’ Hall, where the Town Offices are located, once belonged to the Lafayette Artillery Company? In April of 1888 the building was sold to the Town of Lyndeborough by the Lafayette Artillery Company for the sum of $1.00. Attached you will find a PDF of that Bill of Sale. I apologize for the poor quality, it is a scan of an old photocopy of the original document. At some point we would like to get the original scanned in properly. When we do, I will add it to the website as an item of interest. Until then, please enjoy this little snippet of Town history.
